 Huawei and MTN Business are deploying a private 5g network in a Minetec and Miniandante Mining Company mine in South Africa. Canyon Coal’s Phalanndwa colliery in Mpumalanga will use 5G to enhance worker’s safety. Video analytics will be used to track vehicles upon entrance and exit of the mine and real-time vehicle collision avoidance monitoring systems will know the precise location and trajectory of vehicles in real-time.
